I am a Ph.D. student in the Earth and Space Science Department of York University, under the supervision of professor Spiros Pagiatakis. My research focuses on the accelerometer instrument which measures the non-gravitational accelerations caused by the Solar Radiation Pressure, drag, Earth Radiation, etc. My current research is focused on the precise calibration of the accelerometer measurements based only on satellite measurements. The calibrated accelerometer data, then are used for the extraction of atmospheric drag and SRP models that could be used for the study of the Earth's upper atmosphere.
