Abhinanda Roy is currently pursuing Ph.D. in the Department of Water Resources Development and Management at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India (Aug 2020-Present). Her research interests include hydrological modeling, flood forecasting, uncertainty quantification, machine learning, data assimilation techniques, hybrid modeling, and reservoir operation. She visited Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, United Kingdom, as Visiting Research Scholar under the sponsorship of the Scheme for Promotion of Academic and Research Collaboration (SPARC), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India (Dec 2021-Mar 2022). She completed her M-Tech in Water Resources and Hydroinformatics from Government Engineering College, Thrissur, India in 2015 and her B-Tech in Civil Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi (MG) University, Kerala, India in 2013. She is the recipient of the MG University (State) Fourth Rank in B-Tech (Civil Engineering). She has served as a Senior Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India (Nov 2018-Aug 2020) and Assistant Professor at Muthoot Institute of Technology and Science, Kerala, India (Aug 2015-Nov 2018). She has two publications in peer-reviewed journals (Water Resources Research and Elsevier Procedia) and a book chapter (Elsevier).
