Join us Saturday, March 15, from 8:45 AM to 12:30 PM as we welcome Drew Dudley and Len Pierre.

Self Respect: The Foundation of Leadership with Drew Dudley

Drew Dudley will offer several simple yet transformative leadership strategies for embedding self-care and cultivating resilience and psychological safety in our daily routines. Through powerful stories that recognize the difficult parts of life and work with humour and compassion, he will help us discover how to close the gap between the person we are and the person we want to be without compromising our happiness, fulfillment, or work-life balance.

Drew will remind us that we are not alone in our frustrations and fears and that taking care of ourselves is key to feeling engaged and connected every day.

Indigenous Allyship & Anti-racism in Professional Practice with Len Pierre

Len Pierre will generously share his knowledge and experience to help us learn more about what it means to be an ally to Indigenous peoples. He will also offer practical tools for incorporating anti-racism into our professional practice.

Being an ally is not a static identity, and it is not a badge of honour. Instead, being an ally is a sign of privilege. Allyship is also not declared but based on the context in which you ACT. Len will unpack the similarities and differences between being an ally to Indigenous peoples and other ally contexts.
