More details coming!

4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

The conference kicks off with the Welcome Reception — and if you've ever tried to have a real conversation at a busy trade show, this is your window.

With the full conference day still ahead, Friday evening is the quietest the trade show floor will be all weekend. Exhibitors are set up, the energy is fresh, and there's no lineup behind you. It's the ideal time to take a lap, stop at the booths that matter to your community, and actually talk — not just collect a business card and move on.

Whether you're a board member looking for your next auditor, a condo manager vetting vendors for your portfolio, or simply figuring out what's out there, the Welcome Reception gives you the space to do it without the Saturday rush.

Don't skip the reception and registering for both days. It's the best-kept secret of the conference.

8:15 AM - 9:30 AM

Your board is only as strong as the people on it — and strong boards don't happen by accident. This session tackles the hard questions every condo community eventually faces: What happens when key board members step down? How do you attract capable, committed volunteers? And what does it actually take to build a board that works well with management and delivers real results for owners? Whether you're a seasoned board member or just getting started, you'll leave with practical strategies to strengthen your board today — and build one that lasts.

9:30 AM - 10:15 AM

Forty-five minutes between the opening panel and your first breakout session — enough time to refuel, revisit a booth you rushed past during the Welcome Reception, or finally ask that question you didn't get to raise from the floor.

The coffee's on. The exhibitors are ready. And the trade show floor is a lot more manageable before the full day hits its stride. If you've got a shortlist of vendors to meet, this is the moment to work through it.

10:15 AM - 11:15 AM

Calling a lawyer too early is expensive. Calling one too late can be catastrophic. This session helps boards and managers find that line — and stay on the right side of it. You'll hear directly from Alberta condominium lawyers about the situations that demand legal advice, the ones that don't, and what you need to do before you pick up the phone so the conversation is as productive (and cost-effective) as possible. If you manage or govern a condo corporation, understanding when and how to access legal help is one of the most valuable skills you can have.

People. Pets. Parking. Three little words that generate a disproportionate share of condo conflict — and keeping all three in balance is one of the most demanding jobs in condominium management. This session dives into the real-world challenges: accommodating assistance animals versus enforcing pet bylaws, managing parking disputes fairly and consistently, and navigating the human dynamics that make every situation different. Led by experienced property managers, you'll come away with practical strategies and ready-to-use frameworks for the situations that are hardest to get right.

Most boards know they need technical audits — but very few understand what they're really getting, what different reports actually cover, or how to use the results to make smarter decisions about their building. This session demystifies the full range of technical assessments: what triggers them, what engineers are actually looking for, how to interpret findings, and how results feed into your reserve fund planning. If your corporation has aging infrastructure, upcoming major repairs, or a reserve fund study on the horizon, this session will save you time, money, and costly misunderstandings.

11:15 AM - 12:30 PM

Lunch at ACC isn't a sit-down-and-wait affair — it's an hour and fifteen minutes of the best networking on the floor.

Food stations are spread across the trade show, which means the path to lunch takes you past the exhibitors you haven't had a chance to visit yet. Grab something at one end, have a conversation in the middle, pick up dessert on your way back. It's designed that way on purpose.

This is your longest unstructured window of the day — use it. The boards and managers you've been meaning to connect with are all in the same room, and nobody's rushing to the next session just yet. Come hungry, stay curious, and don't be surprised if the best conversation of the conference happens between bites.

12:30 PM - 1:30 PM

The relationship between a condo board and its property manager can be the greatest asset — or the biggest source of friction — in a condominium community. This session gets real about what goes wrong and what makes it work. From managing difficult personalities and conflicting expectations to building the communication habits that create genuine trust, this panel brings together experienced managers and board members to share what they've lived through and what they've learned. If you've ever wondered why some condo communities thrive and others struggle, this session has the answers.

1:30 PM - 2:00 PM

A quick reset between the mid-afternoon panel and your second breakout session. Grab a coffee, stretch your legs, and take another lap through the trade show floor. Thirty minutes goes faster than you think — but so does a good conversation with the right exhibitor.

2:00 PM - 3:15 PM

What does it actually take to turn a struggling condo board into a high-functioning one? The board members of Palace Royale have lived through the full journey — from a fractured, conflict-ridden governance environment to a community that runs smoothly, makes decisions confidently, and keeps owners informed and engaged. In this candid, board-member-led session, they share the specific decisions, structural changes, and communication practices that made the difference. This isn't theory — it's a real story from real people who did the work.

This session is locked in. The details? Still under wraps. Check back soon — this one's worth the wait.

Your replacement cost appraisal is one of the most consequential documents your corporation holds — and it's also one of the most misunderstood. Many boards conflate replacement cost with market value, don't know what drives appraisal changes year over year, or have no idea how their appraisal connects to their insurance coverage and risk exposure. This session breaks it all down in plain language: how appraisals are built, what makes them go up or down, and what it means for your corporation if your coverage and your appraisal are out of sync. Come with questions — this one directly impacts your bottom line.

3:15 PM - 3:30 PM

Just enough time to get where you need to be. Breakout sessions wrap at 3:15 — the closing panel kicks off at 3:30 in Macleod Hall A. Grab a coffee on your way and settle in for the finale.

3:30 PM - 5:00 PM

Something big is coming to this slot. We're not ready to spill the details just yet — but trust us, you'll want to be in the room. Stay tuned.

Schedule is subject to change.
