What to Expect

A Time for Reflection:
Conventions are an opportunity to look back on all that we’ve accomplished together. Over the last year, we’ve been hard at work standing up against the UCP and preparing for the next election. This is a time to celebrate our progress, reflect on lessons learned, and consider how we can grow stronger as a movement.

Looking Ahead:
More importantly, conventions are about the future. Together, we’ll ask, “What’s next?” You’ll have a chance to provide input on the Alberta NDP’s platform and policy direction as we lay the groundwork for our 2027 election campaign. Expect thought-provoking discussions on the big issues facing our province and inspiring speakers who will motivate us to take action.

Education and Training:
Throughout the weekend, you’ll have access to training sessions designed to prepare you for whatever role you play in the campaign ahead. From policy deep dives to practical skills, these sessions will equip you with the tools and knowledge you need to help us win.

Connection and Community:
One of the best parts of convention is the chance to meet and connect with party members from all across Alberta. This is your opportunity to network, share ideas, and find inspiration from the incredible community that makes up our party.
