Renee-Claude Carrier (She/Her) lives in Whitehorse Yukon, the traditional territory of Kwanlin Dün First Nation and the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council. She is the Manager of Kaushee’s Place, Yukon Women’s Transition Home. A Women’s Shelter that operates with a Response Based/ Dignity Preserving lens. She also has been working for the Liard Aboriginal Women’s Society (LAWS) on unceded Kaska territory since 2015 and currently co-facilitates the program Youth for Dignity (Ts’ídāne Ā’ Nezen) which focuses on gendered violence, activism, and Kaska culture, using a Response Based/Dignity driven lens.
