Have you measured greenhouse gas exchange using a smartphone? 3D printed an automated water quality sampler? Or wrote useful code for R, GEE or MATLAB? This session aims to highlight the use of novel, innovative or updated methods to investigate all aspects of biogeoscience research. We welcome contributions capturing field, lab or computer-based measurement techniques such as new instrumentation and sensors, data acquisition via smartphones and drone-based technology, ecosystem-scale monitoring via satellites, novel sampling techniques or automations related to data processing and management.
