Karli Sauvageau has been with City of Calgary for 13 years, the last 5 of which have been with the Calgary Emergency Management Agency (CEMA). She has supported several Emergency Operations Center (EOC) activations in that time including the Covid-19 pandemic, several wildfire evacuations and the recent catastrophic water main break. Most of her time with CEMA has been in the role of ensuring operational readiness at the EOC, but she has recently moved into a role of promoting community preparedness and education.
