Camilo Gil has a background in research, policy analysis, and community development. He has been working with the Calgary Emergency Management Agency (CEMA) since January of this year, where he educates community members and groups on how to prepare for emergencies in Calgary. He also carries out an operational role at CEMA when the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is activated, such as in supporting the Water Main Break, and the Jasper Wildfire Evacuation responses.
