Noel Ritson-Bennett is a veterinarian with experience in a number of large animal and food animal settings. He has worked to support emergency animal disease preparedness and response activities in field and laboratory environments both in Canada and abroad. Currently, Noel is the CFIA’s Veterinary Program Manager for Western Canada and he is the Planning Chief in the ongoing avian influenza investigation. Noel is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Preventative Medicine. He lives with his family in Calgary, AB.
