Dr. Echeverry is presently employed at Aviagen in the capacity of a Regional Technical Services Veterinarian for the USA and Canada. He earned his Veterinary degree from the Universidad de Caldas in his native country, Colombia, and later obtained a Master of Science degree in Immunology from the University of Manitoba. With nearly two decades of dedicated service in the poultry industry, he has consistently offered guidance and assistance to the various sectors of the industry including hatcheries, broilers, broiler breeders, and layers.

In his current role at Aviagen, Dr. Echeverry concentrates on supporting Aviagen customers in their parent stock and broiler needs in numerous facets of poultry production. This includes but is not limited to biosecurity programs, disease prevention and control strategies, vaccine programs, and vaccination techniques, among others.
