Nathan Basiliko (BSc Cornell U, PhD McGill U) is a professor in the Department of Biology and Director of the Lakehead University Environmental Laboratory at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Prior he was a Canada Research Chair and faculty member at Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario. Nathan is a soil scientist working in forest, wetland, and other boreal environments, with a particular focus on how soil microbiomes respond to environmental change. He is a past president of the Canadian Society of Soil Science.
