This panel session hosted by CYHS is designed to help students transition to the next stage of their careers by highlighting a range of opportunities available in hydrology and hydrogeology in academic research and applied roles in the private sector. Panel discussions will aim to provide practical insights for early-career researchers looking to make informed career decisions. Hear from Connor Acton, an Intermediate Hydrogeological Engineer-in-Training with BGC Engineering; Arsh Grewal, an assistant professor at the University of Saskatchewan; and Amelia Grose, a postdoctoral researcher at McGill University. Bring any questions you have, as there will be opportunities for audience Q&A and breakout sessions to discuss your questions about career pathways, graduate research, industry work, and navigating the transition into the workforce.
