The Groundwater Project, a Canadian NGO (www.gw-project.org), has made it its mission to make groundwater understandable through creating and publishing educational books and related training materials on a comprehensive range of groundwater topics in many languages. The Groundwater Project operates from their own virtual platform globally accessible with publications available for free. The Groundwater Project is unique in its scope and volunteer framework for creating a comprehensive repository of highly credible synthesized knowledge concerning an entire scientific domain known as groundwater science (hydrogeology), which derives from the broader realms of the geological and environmental sciences. Since book publication began in 2020, the Groundwater Project has positioned itself as a global leader providing high-quality, groundwater education. Education is provided for children, university students, scientists, practitioners, and members of the public. Groundwater Project books are being used to educate the future generation of hydrogeologists. The Groundwater Project recognizes the importance of making groundwater knowledge accessible to a wide audience, including children. Including water in the early childhood curriculum is essential for promoting environmental awareness and raising children's awareness of potential careers in water-related fields. In this presentation we share our accomplishments including book publications and our creation of interactive learning modules to facilitate groundwater learning, part of our expanded vision. We will share future endeavours including the development of online certification for online learning modules and our plans for integrating AI tools to support studying based on the books published by the Groundwater Project.
