Description
Prior to the construction of Site C dam (a third dam on the Peace River downstream of Bennett and Peace Canyon dams), a study was carried out to determine how Site C would affect the downstream ice regime of the Peace River. Compilation of the ice data for the first year of Site C winter operations (2024-2025) has been completed and this will be compared to the study results and historical pre-Site C data.
