This plenary session will explore equity, diversity, and inclusion in the geosciences through community dialogue and shared perspectives, informed by recent initiatives and lessons learned across the geoscience community.
The session will feature an open panel discussion on key EDI challenges and opportunities within the geoscience community and the Canadian Geophysical Union, including retention, career pathways, workplace culture, and structural barriers across academia, industry, and government.
