Meghan Power (she/they) is a settler researcher and Master of Science candidate, working with the Northern EDGE Lab in the Department of Geography at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador. Her research is currently focused on investigating the relationships between disturbance, vegetation cover, plant community biodiversity, and protected areas status on coastal vegetated sand dune systems in Newfoundland. Through their work, Meghan hopes to inform land management initiatives and improve coastal resilience under the ongoing and projected effects of climate change.
