Sara Karam obtained her PhD in environmental engineering from the University of Ottawa in March, 2024, with a thesis entitled assessing the impacts of climate change on climatic extremes and hydrological regimes in a data-scarce region using statistical analysis and hydrological modelling. Sara was employed as a part-time professor at the University of Québec in Outaouais in 2021, and is now a full time project engineer at Natural Resources Canada, contributing to the Federal Government's Flood Hazard Identification and Mapping Program (FHIMP).
