I am an Assistant Professor of Agricultural Meteorology in the Department of Soil Science at the University of Manitoba (Canada). I obtained my B.Sc. from the University of Sao Paulo (Brazil) and my M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Texas A&M University (USA). Current research efforts are focused on studying the cycling of energy and mass in agricultural systems using micrometeorological techniques to determine which agricultural practices are most efficient in utilizing natural resources to produce food and energy without negative impacts on soil and water resources.
