The Geomatics and Cartographic Research Centre (GCRC) at Carleton University is a leading research hub specializing in cybercartography, digital atlases, and geomatics technologies. Founded in 2003 by the late Professor D. R. Fraser Taylor, the centre has been instrumental in advancing digital mapping techniques and linking Indigenous knowledge into cartographic research.
