Eliza Seaborn has been working alongside BC’s hospitality industry for 4 years. She works ardently as a Program Manager with the World University Service of Canada (WUSC), to ensure young refugee talent overseas and businesses in Canada are successfully connected and positively gain from utilizing the Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot (EMPP). Enabling refugees to economically immigrate to Canada based on their skills and agency to contribute to our communities - has been an impactful point in her career.
Prior to WUSC, Eliza has held several roles with immigrant and refugee settlement services in Canada. And has worked internationally with refugee claimants that have not been as lucky to have a meaningful pathway to safety and employment. She brings a personal passion for travel, outdoor recreation, and community development. In another life, she would have loved to be an outdoor adventure tourism operator or national geographic photographer. For now, she appreciates working with hoteliers and inspiring young people, and invites you to connect with her.
